A small lake, surrounded by a rocky shoreline and hills. Besides the large boulders, pine trees fill the hills that surround the lake. The sky is blue with scattered white, puffy clouds. A small gravel path runs along the shoreline on the other side of the lake from where the photo was taken.

Custer State Park was just named the nation’s most-loved state park, based on a study of Tripadvisor visitor rankings by RVezy. The report, featured in a Travel + Leisure article, is based on Tripadvisor reviews and highlights overall quality and visitor satisfaction.

The beauty of this park was summed up perfectly in the article with this quote from RVezy’s study: “‘Its combination of wildlife, scenic routes, and open space makes it one of the most highly praised parks in the country.’”

As a resort thoughtfully located within this iconic park, we are so grateful for this recognition. Read the full article from Travel + Leisure.
