Yes! While most of our hiring focuses on employees who are able to work full-time (some overtime potential) from May through October, we do also hire for intermittent or part-time positions, as well; especially on weekends. Those with more limited schedules most often will be considered for hire at our stores, as activity drivers or workhands, or in the restaurant/banquet events.

Yes! Do you have one year or more experience at a college or technical school or related experience? Inquire about our MIT (manager-in-training) and summer internship programs! These are key introductory management positions for our best and brightest student applicants.

Absolutely. Dormitory housing is not required, and any interested candidates must first apply. We regularly see associates who drive to work from Custer, Hot Springs, Rapid City, and more. They are often surprised to find that the drive is shorter than anticipated, easy, and enjoyable!

Yes, all lodges serve three employee meals a day.

Yes. At the beginning of the season, our employee drivers' schedules tend to fill with airport pickups & arrival needs; but once everyone is settled, we prioritize employee trips to Wal-Mart, Target, the grocery store, and we even offer Black Hills attraction departures. Schedules are posted in employee cafeterias, and pick-up times are strictly enforced so that everyone stays on track.
