 Highway 16A, which extends from State Game Lodge to the east end of Custer, will be under construction, anticipated to last most of summer 2026.

Road crews are resurfacing and replacing guardrails and culverts along the highway. While there are no scheduled detours, traffic is being managed by pilot cars and flaggers. Please be aware of the potential for stop-and-go traffic and road delays. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
