Custer State Park Resort is known for its inspiring venues during the spring, summer and fall; however, a lesser-known secret lies with our beautiful venues available throughout the winter months. Custer State Park undergoes a peaceful metamorphosis after the first snowfall, a magical time when the pine trees become crystal-laden treasures and the creeks provide wonderful rock-based ice sculptures. The once-busy, visitor-filled vibrant park transforms into a quiet, majestic winter wonderland.

Historic State Game Lodge
The Historic State Game Lodge building is one of South Dakota's most well-known and beautiful buildings, and has earned a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The lodge itself is not open for private rental during the summer months, but during the winter months this lodge can be transformed into a unique and personalized wedding venue. With seating for up to 150 people, this large facility is the perfect unforgettable space in which to celebrate your special day! Your ceremony can take place in the Great Room, in front of the wood-burning fireplace and the large windows which overlook the snow-covered hills. For your reception, move into the dining room area to celebrate with delicious food and your choice of entertainment.

Food minimum of $3,000.
Creekside Lodge
The Creekside Lodge is the perfect option for an intimate wedding. With seating for 50+ people, this lodge is the perfect place to celebrate! The Great Room offers a fireplace sourrounded by modernized lodge amenities that make it ideal for your ceremony. The two banquet rooms provide the perfect setting for dining and entertainment. With 30 guest rooms, your family and friends will have the convenience of never having to set foot outside. Rent out the entire lodge if you choose and make it a getaway paradise for the weekend for you and your guests.
