- Lodge Breakfast and Fresh Fruit Buffet
A bountiful buffet featuring scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, country sausage, crisp bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, a selection of fruit and juices.
- Eye-opener Continental Breakfast
Served anywhere (at your cabin stie, on our front porch, deck or patio, on the beach or in our dining room) at your leisure. Includes assorted fresh fruits, and an assortment of fresh muffins and Danish. Juice, coffee, tea and milk for the kids.
- Western Cookout
Hamburgers & hot dogs grilled to perfection; served with corn bread, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, watermelon, brownies, coffee, iced tea & lemonade.
- The Great Steak Out
An 8 oz. sirloin grilled over open coals and served with tossed garden salad with ranch dressing, potato salad, baked beans, corn bread, watermelon, brownies, coffee, lemonade and iced tea.
- Ice Cream Social
Vanilla & Chocolate Ice Cream served with Chocolate, Strawberry, and Butterscotch topping; Nuts Cherries and Whipped Cream.
- Family Picnic
Country-fried chicken, ol' fashioned potato salad, baked beans, ice-cold watermelon, brownies, iced tea and lemonade.
Fun & Activities
- Hay Ride and Chuck Wagon Cookout
Experience the Old West. Our vehicle-drawn hay wagons take you on a scenic tour to a beautiful canyon setting where our chuckwagon cooks offer a "belly-full" of western food. Sing-a-long entertainment and souvenir cowboy hat and bandana are included.
- Buffalo Safari Jeep Rides
An exciting, open-air ride into the back country of Custer State Park. Guides offer historical and educational information on Custer State Park and the wildlife that live here. A 1 1/2 to 2 hour adventures departing from the State Game Lodge.
- Mountain Biking
Custer State Park's early pioneers, ranchers and loggers have left behind miles of trails and back country roads to explore. Mountain bike rentals are available at the Legion Lake Lodge and the State Game Lodge.
- Horseback Riding
The stables at the Blue Bell Lodge offers the finest string of gentle horses in the Black Hills. Ride on some of the most scenic trails around Custer State Park. Wildlife, wild flowers, mountain streams and the surrounding forests make this adventure a memorable one.
- Volleyball
Choose up sides and enjoy a spirited game of volleyball. Bat and ball rental available at the State Game Lodge, Blue Bell Lodge & Legion Lake Lodge.
- Horseshoes
Family fun at its best. Rental available at all resorts.
- Croquet
Fun for family members of all ages. Rental available at the State Game Lodge.
- Boats
A variety of fun filled water vehicles are available for rental at the Legion Lake Lodge and Sylvan Lake Lodge.

- Mt. Rushmore National Memorial
Take Iron Mountains Road, complete with it's pig-tail bridges to view the granite faces of Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln. 1 hour from Park Resorts.
- Crazy Horse Memorial
The world's largest mountain carving in progress. Museum and an excellent display of Korczak Ziolkowski's lifelong works. 30 minutes from Custer Resorts.
- Wind Cave National Park
A world class multi-level labrinth cave with unique formations and 28,000 acre native wildlife park. Located 45 minutes from Custer Resorts.
- The Mammoth Site
A National Natural Landmark. Completely enclosed paleontologist dig that has already uncovered bones of more than 40 mammoths. 1 hour from Custer Resorts.
- 1880 Train
Steaming out of Hill City; feel the excitement of yesteryear. This scenic 10 mile trip to Keystone Junction runs daily. 45 minutes from Custer Resorts.
- Rushmore-Borglum Story
This modern museum offers self-guided tours highlighting sculpture Gutzon Borglum's work at Mt. Rushmore as well as his other works. Located in Keystone 1 hour from Custer Resorts.
- Jewel Cave National Monument
13 miles West of Custer is the second largest cave in the nation. Scenic, historic & spelunking tours of the more than 76 miles of jewel-like crystal lined passageways are offered.
- Badlands National Monument
A savagely beautiful landscape of ridges, spires and buttes carved wind, rain and temperature extremes. Located 2 hours East of Custer State Park.
- Devils Tower National Monument
Our nation's first National Monument rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche river in Northeastern Wyoming. Climbing, hiking and interpretive programs. Located 3 hours from Custer Resorts.
- National Museum of Woodcarvers
A museum and gallery featuring the life-work of the original animator of Disneyland. 30 minutes from Custer Resorts.
- Big Thunder Gold Mine
Located in Keystone; one of the original Black Hills gold mines offers guided tours and the opportunity to pan for gold. 1 hour from Custer Resorts.
